A Glasgow International Bike Film Festival On Tour - Special Event - For one night only
"Seasons" and “Roam”– a mountain bike film double bill
Following on from the sell out UK premieres of "Roam" in 2006, the multi award winning Collective are back with their eagerly anticipated third feature, "Seasons".
“Seasons” follows seven of the world’s top mountain bikers through the course of the four seasons of the year, bringing cinematic grandeur to the genre of mountain bike films. From the heat of competition downhill racing to riders ripping singletrack against the backdrop of a summer sunset, Seasons is a must see for film fans and bike fans alike. Filmed entirely on location throughout the world including the UK, Seasons features the UK’s own UCI World Cup Downhill Champion, Steve Peat.
“Roam” brings stunning cinematography, multiple camera sequences, a mood capturing soundtrack and a cohesive narrative style to the genre of mountain bike films. It represents the collaborative efforts of some of the world's best mountain bike riders and is an expression of their words, ideas and most importantly, their riding. It's easy to see why this multiple award winning film garnered both critical and commercial success on its release and why it set the standard for all films to follow.
Hyde Park Picture House are delighted to be hosting this, the Leeds Premiere screening of “Seasons”. It will be preceded by a special "making of" documentary and a special screening of their second critically and commercially acclaimed feature "Roam".
